This qualification describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a gantry or overhead crane and conduct lifting operations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles in the resources and infrastructure industries.

Any statutory or mandated assessment requirements for assessments must be met in full before the candidate can be deemed to be competent in any unit of competency.

With successful completion of the training and assessment, applicants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and wallet sized plastic competency card.
